WE ARE STILL ACCEPTING REGISTRATIONS FOR THE INLAND PROGRAM IN CATOOSA (Tulsa area), September 24 – 28, and hosted by Oakley’s Port 33. The Inland Maritime Port Executive Seminar is an officially recognized IRPT Education Program. IRPT members receive a 10% discount on the cost of the seminar. The 36 hour full program can be taken in 2 segments. The management section is 16 hours (days 1 and 2) and the executive section an additional 20 hours (days 3, 4 and 5). The program covers a wide range of topics regarding port and terminal management specifically related to inland river ports. Jeff Monroe, MM, AMPE International Association of Maritime and Port Executives July 31, 2018: Federal Register Inland Waterways Users Board; Request for Nominations The Department of the Army is publishing this notice to request nominations to serve as representatives on the Inland Waterways Users Board, sponsored by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Section 302 of Public Law 99-662 established the Inland Waterways Users Board. The Board is an independent Federal advisory committee. The Secretary of the Army appoints its 11 (eleven) representative organizations. This notice is to solicit nominations for seven (7) appointments for terms that will begin by May 28, 2019.

Jeff Monroe, MM, AMPE International Association of Maritime and Port Executives This September 10th through the 14th, we will offer consecutive port management (MPM) and executive management (MPE) programs in the Port of New London CT, sponsored by the Connecticut Port Authority. This is our only offering in New England this year and most likely we will be focused on other areas of North America in 2019. The 36 hour program can be taken in one week or in 2 segments. Management 2 days and later executive management 2.5 days. The program runs daily 0830 to 1730, except Friday when it is done by noon. We currently have 13 participants in the program.
