The IAMPE offers two-day continuing education programs multiple times a year at locations across North America. These two-day programs feature multiple speakers and cover a variety of topics related to port management and global logistics. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information regarding the specific topics to be covered at any upcoming course.
The two-day continuing education programs provide sixteen continuing education credits necessary to advance from an MPE to an AMPE designation as well as credit for maintaining a number of other professional certifications. Credits may also be earned through the graduate online program managed by the Loeb-Sullivan School of International Business and Logistics and Maine Maritime Academy. Other sources of continuing education credits are accepted from IAMPE educational partners or from other institutions which will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
In Fall of 2019, the IAMPE is pleased to offer two continuing education programs on the creation and application of port tariffs. The seminar is a comprehensive overview of how to effectively create, amend, and keep port tariffs up to date. The full program appears below. One seminar will be offered in Portland, Maine from 8-9 October, and the other will be offered in Vallejo, California from 24-25 October.
