The International Association of Maritime and Port Executives (IAMPE) is a non-profit membership association dedicated to developing and maintaining professional standards in the maritime industry. These industry standards have been developed and approved by the IAMPE’s advisory board – an organization of 20+ senior port professionals across North America. STANDARDS AND EDUCATION FOR THE MARITIME WORLD

The IAMPE’s educational programs are structured to provide standardized tiers of certification for port professionals. The association’s flagship offering – the Maritime Port Executive (MPE) program – is the industry standard for what port professionals need to know to succeed in this business. The program is designed by Captain Jeffrey Monroe, the association’s Director of Education and Training, and has been used to train 1,000+ professionals over the past two decades.
