The Port of Prince Rupert, Canada’s leading edge port in trade growth, maritime safety, environmental stewardship and community partnerships, invites applications from highly-motivated individuals for the position of an IT ANALYTICS ADMINISTRATOR. The individual is responsible for the entire data flow process, from ETL to final reporting tools and everything in-between. We are a work environment that will encourage the incumbent to expand their skill set from Business Intelligence and SSIS/SSRS master. General composition of this role is 25% BI, 25% DBA, 25% schema designer, and 25% bidirectional translator of English and 3NF. This position is a part of a small team of IT professionals delivering service and support to internal and external stakeholders, right on the beautiful North Coast waterfront.The ideal candidate would possess a college or university degree and completion of some Professional Technical Certifications (i.e. MCSE: Business Intelligence, CBIP, etc.) and three to five years’ recent experience as a Business Intelligence Professional. In addition, the ideal candidate would also possess strong spoken and written communication skills and perform well individually in a team environment.
