Jeff Monroe, MM, AMPE International Association of Maritime and Port Executives ADMINISTRATION SEEKS INDUSTRY INPUT Consistent with Executive Order 12866 and the Regulatory Right to Know Act, the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA), within the Office of Management and Budget is seeking public input on how the Federal government may prudently manage regulatory costs imposed on the maritime sector. The MAP is administered by personnel of the Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) on behalf of CCC. The intended effect of this notice is to solicit proposals from eligible applicants for fiscal year 2019 and to set out the criteria for the awarding of funds under the program. Jeff Monroe, MM, AMPE International Association of Maritime and Port Executives New USDOT BUILD Grant Program Announced, Applications Due July 19th The U.S. DOT recently announced the release of its Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the latest round of TIGER, now called Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development, or BUILD, Transportation Discretionary Grants. These highly competitive grants are designed to close funding gaps for road, rail, transit and port projects that will have a significant local or regional impact. Jeff Monroe, MM, AMPE International Association of Maritime and Port Executives PORT TAMPA BAY/IAMPE HOLD FIRST HAZMAT CLASS IN PORT OF TAMPA IAMPE conducted its first class certification under 49 CFR/IMDG requirements working in conjunction with Port Tampa Bay Manager of Training, Dennis Martin. The class consisted of port employees, port terminal operators, and private marine companies associated with the port.
