Jeff Monroe, MM, AMPE International Association of Maritime and Port Executives USDOT/FHWA ANNOUNCES NEW FUNDING PROGRAM THE USDOT/FHWA has announced a new funding mechanism to provide 100 % federal aid fund eligibility for commercial truck parking. An extension of this concept is the extension of truck parking that is locating and enabling to modal options including tug and barge service. If I could guide any of your members from Maine to Mass, I would suggest that they self-advocate, set aside lands for, permit, and otherwise advance the capacity and function of commercial truck parking in close proximity to or within their Port Districts.
